First a little about my business and then down to the sale conditions. I offer items for sale on behalf of other people, known as consignment selling. Which means I am asked to sell something on their behalf, often because they have not got the time, due to family, work, other commitments or they may not have the knowledge/facilities to access the World Wide Web. So for a set fee or commission, I will do my best to sell the items for the best or most acceptable price, according to their instructions.

These conditions apply to the sale of items on this page only and that are on sale for and on behalf of C.H.A.R.T. members. Items for sale in my store Capricorn Curios are covered by different Conditions and you are asked to read those before buying from the store. Thank you.

Conditions.

The items I offer for sale are, unless otherwise stated, secondhand. That is to say they have previously been used and as such may have sustained some damage. Where I consider the damage to be a part of everyday use I will not necessarily mention all or any of the usual marks. For example. Most books that have been well read or handled with show signs of discolouration and shelf marks as well as knocks to the edges and slight tears to paper covers/jackets. This would normally be expected and so unless they are very poor they may not be mentioned. Each item being sold will be accompanied by an image, if you click on that image your will see an enlarged image which will help you decide for yourself.

All of the items being sold are covered by the law in regards to the distance selling regulations. If you choose to return an item you must state why! As some returns will be subject to conditions. For example, damage caused after the item was received can hardly be classed as a good reason for return. Also damage caused during shipping, unless this is due to my poor packing, something that has never occurred to date! With many of the items there will be other pictures available for you to look at! Where there is not then where possible I can provide you with addition images. This is not the case with every item. All return postage is to be met by the buyer. I will only refund the original postage along with the item cost.

Important.. I am here as a guest and as such I must point out that I am wholly responsible for the listings, descriptions and sales of all items listed on the Sponsor's Pages. That is to say that C.H.A.R.T. are in no way responsible for any transactions that occur between yourself and Jack'sons Services. Although I am also a member of C.H.A.R.T. the two are kept completely separate. C.H.A.R.T. are not a business nor are they a part of my business and more information about the team can be found on the home page and throughout the rest of the site.

Items will be posted to you within 3 working days from receiving my receipt of payment from PayPal.

All lots will be safely wrapped and protected and should arrive to you in the same condition that they left me. If not please contact me at jacksonsservices@googlemail.com

I use Royal Mail services for all my postage and a proof of postage is received for each item.
